The Christian Progressive Movement (CPM) was founded in 2006, on March 23 and Mohtarmma Naila J Dayal was named the Chairperson of the party. This is the first political party of Christian community with the aim of protecting rights of most deprived, neglected, ignored, destitute and underprivileged class living in the country. The party aims at providing and creating leadership from the community instead of make shift arrangements by the governments in power. At present the existing representation in both the houses is by nomination of blue eyed Christian community people due to their relations with the Pakistani political elite, instead of having any link with the Christian community. The party strongly condemns the existing system of indirect election (Nomination) and wants the Christian community should have the right to elect their own representative through vote. The party manifesto reflects the bold and strong approach of its Chairperson. The Chairperson of the party besides being a humble, and kind human is a bold and fearless leader. The Chairperson who hails from Sahiwal (Punjab) is well traveled, well educated, intelligent daring and audacious Lady. She doesn’t accept the word of minorities neither white color in the country’s Flag. The Chairperson believes in the reality that all human leaving in the Geographical bounds of Pakistan are Pakistani nation , irrespective of cast , creed, culture or religion. The party is being organized at country level and shall soon be voice of over 15 Million Christian , who have always been deprived of their rights due to biased census.
